Murray Newlands Releases New Performance Marketing Book
Murray Newlands has been in the Internet marketing space for years; from being a consultant to other companies, to running his own blog, Murray is a busy guy, but somewhere in his hectic schedule he’s managed to write a brand new book alongside SEO and PPC expert, John Rampton. The book, titled “Performance Marketing for Professionals” is a comprehensive guide to all-things digital marketing; from affiliate marketing to media buying. With the release of his new book, we sat down with Murray to learn a bit more and find out exactly why internet marketers need to read his latest work.
SaleCycle and Affiliate Window: A Flipbook on Cart Abandonment Emails
SaleCycle and Affiliate Window’s partnership allows clients to automatically contact people who abandon their shopping cart, booking, or application form with dynamic, personalized messages in real-time. This Flipbook showcases some of the great brands working with SaleCycle to recover lost sales online and the retail industry averages in Q3 2013
New Reduced Payment Thresholds
Affiliate Window is pleased to announce a new, reduced payment threshold which came into effect November 1st, 2013. Particularly attractive to publishers who receive payment via international transfer, this change will make commission earnings more accessible and, if interested, more frequent.
During October, the Illinois Supreme court upheld a lower court decision that the “Amazon Tax” law was unconstitutional and violated federal law, which was a huge victory for Illinois affiliates. Unfortunately, the Performance Marketing Association’s appeal of the Colorado internet tax law was denied. The rejection of the law by the Illinois Supreme court combined with the support of the law by the New York Supreme Court sets the stage for the case to be considered by the US Supreme Court, though the New York Attorney General has asked for the case not to be accepted.
Amazon will begin collecting sales tax in both Maryland and Wisconsin due to nexus caused by building warehouse facilities in both locations.
