Talking I'm not making this up :-)
I have been working for datafeeds for a long time now and I thought I had seen everything when it comes to them. I have seen missing spaces between words, I have seen apparel sites that don't distinguish between the men and women clothings, I have seen datafeeds which don't contain images (or all images are broken). But I have never seen this. The House of Brides datafeed at pj. IN the description field all the 'B's and 'R's are missing. Here is a few examples straight from the feed

Taffeta stapless gown with one shoulde handmade flowes stap, a fitting asymmetical odice and thee dimension taffeta flowes eautify the ustle skit, utton timmed ack zippe with chapel tain.Availale in Diamond White, White, Ivoy

Oganza satin tulle gown with one shoulde oganza stap, sweetheat neckline emellished with eaded motif, a dopped waistline and ties of uffled oganza skit, uttons tim ack with chapel length tain. Availale in White, Ivoy
Doesn't everyone want a dress (er dess) with "flowes eautify the ustle skit". I don't know how this could have happened. But if you use the House of Brides (er ides) datafeed from pj you probably should make major changes to the description field. Other fields see fine.

doesn't help. Either way I can explain it only two letters are missing (i checked all other letters are there). I stand corrected, the capital B and R are OK, its just the lowercased ones.

My guess is they removed the letters on purpose to make sure it didn't cause duplicate content. I'm not kidding.

I thought of that, but come on, its better to have no descriptions than to have misspelled ones. Besides didn't they think someone would notice? And why B & R for brides? why not ho for house?

Also, just because you remove 2 letters, doesn't mean the google still wouldn't see it as duplicate content

Maybe they're cutting back, but instead of cutting commission rates and cookie length, like everyone else, they're cutting out letters.

Would have been more interesting had they removed all the vowels.

Wld hv bn mr ntrstng hd thy rmvd ll th vwls.

    Or all the spaces: Wouldhavebeenmoreinterestinghadtheyremovedallthevowels.

    Some merchants. Such a shame.

The mystery is solved. I found your bs and rs. They populated every field of the StylishPlus datafeed, here's a typical description:
Product Name:Fashion & Sexy Lace Matched Long Sleeve Mini Red Casual Dressesbbbrrr Item Code:CS0675bbbrrr Country Of Origin:China bbbrrrSole Material: Man made bbbrrrSizing: True to size bbbrrrShipping Weight:250g
..and every product line was like that. I thought maybe they were having a cold spell in China. It is a shame, because lots of people are looking for dressesbbbrrr with man-made bbbrrrsoles.

Maybe you can tell them or the network about the issue? I think they'll listen?
