How does Bestoffersforu generate its traffic?
    Hi there,

I'm kind of new on this forum. Let me introduce myself.
I'm Marcel Roeper and I'm in affiliate marketing for some years now. Really enjoy the business, although it can be a bit dodgy and confusing sometimes.
Mostly, its very inspiring to see how an idea of an affiliate can be quite a success! :-)

I'm entering this forum, with a question which has been on my mind quite some time now.I've noticed the website Bestoffersforu.com and I wondered how they generate their traffic. Do you have any idea?

    Many thanks,
    Marcel

Hi Marcel, welcome to the forum.

Question: What makes you think that site as any legitimate traffic?

Approx. 73 pages indexed in the Google
    Registered March of 2013
And is listed "For Sale" for a mere $2,695 on one of the exchanges...

    Thanks!

Well, I don't think its legitimate. That's why I'm asking.
I think its running a dodgy business. Do you have any idea how?

Don't see anything dodgy - all those merchants listed will pretty much approve anyone...

What makes you think they get traffic?

I know it has a CVR >5% of one of listed merchants. I really wonder, how people get on this site and how it manage to have such a high CVR.

It's probably all paid traffic. It's a junk site, so it's definitely not getting any organic love.

Is there a tool where I can see what keywords he's buying?

May not be buying keywords - just traffic...

Could be doing ppv or something along those lines. Stay away from ppv, no networks accept it, and most instantly close your account for it.

Not according to their head of network quality. We had a meeting with them a couple weeks ago because a sub affiliate had pushed ppv traffic. On a side note, there is pretty much no way for us, or a network to determine ppv traffic is being used, so we were left scratching our heads as to how to block it if it ever happens again.

Network quality should get updated. We had a conversation about this just this year - couple of months ago. I'll see if I can find it and/or the merchant (fashion niche)...

Interesting, they have told us that it's a one strike and you are out of the network policy.

I remember this conversation. I see it as cookie stuffing personally. I never understood how it was allowed.

Could you help me with some real proof on how it run its business?

Why not focus on building an actual GOOD site that offers some long term value to customers? I get the desire to make quick money, but it isn't a long term strategy.
