Hi, I really hate to open this kind of threads, but today so far I have been getting several sales from 1 of my merchants while just 1 sale from all others together, may be some reporting problem with some merchants, or it is just more paranoia?

    Hello Fer.

Tracking is seriously delayed. I have one merchant where transactions steadily come in during the day...each hour.

Such was the case today...until about 5 hours ago. Not a one since.

I may go next hour and find numerous transactions suddenly appear. Going over the event times I'll find they occurred during those "missing" hours.

Occassionally it never corrects, and I just chalk it up as a free day for the merchant.

Who'ya going to complain to? CJ already reads the forum...and is aware that numerous affiliates think there are tracking issues that need to be resolved.

Our sales were pitiful today. Maybe 20-30% normal sales volume for a Saturday.

I have always daily sale, but from two days no sale nothing at all. It is just zero. Where all traffic and clicks are as routine.

No paranoia here but sales are really down. And I'm talking volume, down from 500 transactions a day to 200 with more than 40 productive merchants. Traffic is roughly the same. I don't think it's a reporting problem, just collateral damage.

    Very bad too...

Probably with all the uncertainty, people are cutting down their spending.

500 transactions a day? You are like a star for me. I would be very happy if I could break 20 transactions a day and could block the way back.

Saturday affiliate sales were modest here.

Went out to a local mall and it was packed. A decent day in the Northeast megopolis comes along and everyone wants to shake cabin fever.

Saw this pattern before. A nice late winter day in the Northeast means online sales tank.

My best performing web sites are as old as the Internet, all on niche market and have great ranking. I don't think you can do great anymore. All my web sites less than two years old have average figures. You do OK a few months then get buried under a ton a new sites with the same information from the same data feed. Mass marketing with these new tools is killing traditional affiliate marketing. Time to have new ideas.

PS. With such a nickname, IRS, I can't say more.

Same here. My best performing web site is over 5 years old. But I'm encouraged that one I put up in December is already 50% of my best site. Why? Education...took me five years to figure out what I was doing right and wrong.

I'm cleaning house today. Everytime I do this I get at least one e-mail from one of the merchants raising my commission rate.

Sorry, but I've gotten alittle cocky with my thousands of daily shoppers. You're not going to sit on my sites and not perform.

IRS, the pb is not your use of a nickname.
March is tax time and it doesn't make me too happy.
FYI, as I see you're from Asia. The IRS is the US government agency responsible for tax collection and tax law enforcement.

Sales were decent on Saturday. But for some reason I'm getting more weekend sales, and getting more "unexpected" sales during the week. Unfortunately, products I expect to sell during the week do not perform well.

In terms of war, I think once it's clear whether or not there is one, the economy will get better. It seems like a lot of people are holding spending because of the uncertainty. But then it's tax time again, the spending power may also be affected by how many potential buyers will receive a refund, and how many of them owe.

Searching through product links I noticed that All-Hotels.com has some special hotel rates in Baghdad.

    Anyone have this link up?

Zeus, I admit I was thinking late, even I know well what IRS in your country actually is. I am an accountant.
