    CJ / Shoebuy Payment
    Did anybody get payment for the shoebuy transactions to november 1? I am getting a bit of a runaround from CJ on this - transactions all locked but no payout. I have been given to understand "they were deactivated for non sufficient funds" this we know is not so as they did effective november 1 move on to linkshare.

    Just because they moved doesn't mean they don't owe CJ...

    this is true but if they left owing their affiliates money at CJ what does that say about them going forward?

    I just checked and see locked commissions from ShoeBuy which should have been closed last week.

    from CJ support:
    "If the advertiser brings their account current by next month’s payout you should see these commissions move from “locked” to “closed” and payment will be issued."
    Shoebuy has been one of my trusted merchants for over 10 years. I have had a good relationship with them in that time. Hopefully, it will get sorted out for the next pay cycle. I would expect they do not want to disappoint the affiliates that followed them to Linkshare.

    Different situation, but I got jerked around by CJ a couple of years ago when sales from a merchant got hung in "locked" limbo for 6 consecutive months. It took constant support tickets, phone calls, and a big pissed off red guy at the ASW CJ booth to flush the clog down the drain. CJ was giving me all sorts of BS canned responses including, "when you sing up for a CJ account you agree we don't actually have to pay you." CJ did not go out of their way to help me.

    it has been my experience that the best route is to contact support at CJ and also go direct to the merchant - both avenues. in this case shoebuy will also get tapped on the shoulder.
