How can I find good affiliates?
Our company sells fashion clothing and other goods. Now I am looking for affiliates to work with us together, but I can't find good affiliates successfully. Who can help me? Please tell me some suggestion. Thanks a lot.

It probably depends on where your affiliate program is located such as ShareaSale, Clickbank, CJ etc. As the strategies you may use to acquire affiliates is likely different depending on what platform your using. But you could also look for ways to target your niche and the people in it by doing some market research.

There are several great threads on recruiting affiliates, but may no mistake, there is definitely work involved. Do a search here on ABW and I know you'll find plenty of information on this.

A great start would be to advertise here on ABestWeb. There are many great affiliates here (not to mention program managers). That would help with your visibility to them.

Plus advertising would show the community you are serious about running a good program. If you look at it from an affiliate's point of view, there are many great merchants in your niche, so the "cream that rises to the top" will be the ones that get noticed and the one affiliates will want to partner with. That's assuming your program is setup correctly to start with.

Hi CHerry, I agree with what has been said here already but wanted to add too, Affiliate Mgmt. is a full time job in a lot of senses and recruitment is a BIG part of that. You can expect to dedicate a lot of time to that area of running a program, along with regular outreach both as a group (i.e. newsletters, forums etc.) and individually 1:1 (emails, phone calls, skype sessions, etc.) if you really want you program to be successful.

If you're doing all of that already, you should find great strategic inspiration here in this community.

If you don't have time to actively solicit new relationships regularly (and nurture them once established) or have someone in house to dedicate the time and effort, you may want to hire a specialist (an Affiliate Mgmt Consultant or OPM) to manage your program for you. Best of luck!

1 out of every 10 you contact will be legit. 1 out of 10 of those legit will actually sign up with you.
    Good luck!
