    The money has been good for me the last few months with CJ But;

The problem I have is the huge gaps that I have each day without any transactions. The other problem is why some of the targeted traffic merchants don't do squat. Unfortunately it's just a handful of merchants that make up my monthly check when it should be a lot more. One of my CJ acnts is going on something like 600 good clickthroughs with zippo to show for it

No record amnt of transactions for me lately.

    Coincidence Me baby!

I get gaps like PerfectG. My EPC is usually around 7.00 but
one or two days a week it is like .90... I really wonder if
all servers track each day or how things work...

We're sitting over here just watching and tryin' to figure out what the h**l is going on.

In the past seven days, we've had over 60,000 clickthroughs recorded on our accounts, which is just super, but we haven't even broken the $200.00 commission barrier.

    We're movin' right along.

Honestly, I'm not trying to irritate anyone here with this post ...because I DO know VERY WELL just HOW frustrating it can be when you're not seeing sales , traffic is good, and you're sitting around wondering what the h**l is going on , and someone comes along and posts something to the effect of :

" No complaints here , I'm having my best week EVER with record breaking sales ! "

BUT, that is sort of the case for me this week - I'm one of the lucky ones on the good server I guess .

If I have learned anything at all from observing CJ's wacky tracking , I'm coming to the sad realization that it won't last long, and I'm expecting that run of great tracking to take a crap anytime now .

No complaints here!;-) sales are good today and yesterday. But the tracking/gaps thing is disturbing. At the start of the month we had a day with a 16 hour gap on CJ! nothing reported (in TAs). We see few sales an hour normally. And...the spreadsheet download showed that the main merchant we promote via CJ did have nicely increasing (internal) transaction numbers those 16 hours....so...they or CJ lost our tracking...but we lost sales.. (our site, as well as the merchant, as well as CJ seemed to be fine that day!) worst day of the month, luckily

I asked tech support about this a few weeks ago and they said
that people aren't assigned to one server. He said there were
3 servers and that sales randomly get routed differently as
they come in.. Does that make sense? It doesn't to me since
there are days where the epc is like .45 compared to 9.00 which
is normal... Today I still have nothing which is really weird.

of course, affiliates/publishers are not coupled to a specific server. the visitor clicks a cj link, gets to a qksrv server, and only then it is determined who the affiliate is. So, the 'I am on the bad server today' is really meant as a joke (I assume);-)

I forgot, what does a sale look like?

My EPC has fallen from about $15 to $.50. For some odd reason, I am getting very few clicks to higher paying merchants, and lots of clicks to lower paying ones.

Makes me wonder if there is a new way to divert clicks on the market.

What my stats show is that I have actually increased impressions to higher paying merchants, but that my click through rate to these merchants has fallen about 70%. Meanwhile, clicks to brain dead merchants like Brainbench and job.com are going strong.

Yes, the "bad server" thing is a joke , for lack of any other theory explaining the whole tracking issue .

Perhaps a better description would be the "mysterious tracking phenomenon ".

yintercept, sounds like your ads dont match your visitors then...if you put more ads of some type, and your clicks go down, put other ads
