    Question Linkshare question
hey guys, got a few simple questions:

    - does inkshare pay for clicks? (i mean just for clicks, even if they don't sell)
    - if it depends on the advertiser, how do I know that a certain advertiser pays for clicks (cost-per-click) and how much?
    - if Linkshare doesn't pay for clicks (pays only for sales) which affliate network would you recommend that pays for clicks?

LinkShare Does Not pay per click, most retail networks abandoned this 10 years ago due to fraud.

Why would any merchant want to pay you for clicks?

    Hello desired,

Rakuten LinkShare actually does have the capability to allow Advertisers to work with Publishers on a CPC basis. It really depends on the Advertiser if they want to work with the Publisher in this manner. As Chuck mentioned, most Advertisers do not work in this type of offer due to fraud. We actually have seen more Advertisers using CPC offers when they can no longer work with Publishers on a CPA basis due to certain states tax laws.
