Okay, I'm still really new at this parasiteware thing. Hubby installed adaware and it's picked up something like 400+ files that's it's flagged for quarantine or deletion. I've read in one of the previous threads here that adaware picks up cj cookies and low and behold, many, many qksrv files flagged.

My question is : do I get hubby to pick another spyware program, if so which one? Or do I just leave adaware on and delete only suspect parasiteware that aren't cookies?

Unless your buying from your own links ...just delete the entire flagged mess.

Your welcome oscar. I've never found Adaware to flag something that couldn't be safely erased. Sure wish it would leave the network cookies alone for the shoppers out there but most of the crap destroying systems comes from rogue affiliates.

If you want to push a nice well behaved popup blocker with nifty useful features then try the altavista.com search bar. It doesn't block the affiliate cookies and new window links.
