    Hello All,

Has anyone used Zone Alarm? Is it a right choice against parasites?

ZA is a great firewall to install. I've used it for years.

It doesn't block parasites, but it will prevent hackers and such.

Go to the website and read the FAQ's and documentation.

    To: Ahmar,

I've used Zone Alarm on my Windows 95 and 98 computers for several years now.

It is one of the first applications I install on a hard drive.

It is amazing how many hacker attenpts it has caught and blocked. Thousands overall.

I won't willingly run a Windows computer without Zone Alarm. The code is probably perfect. Unlike Windows or Internet Explorer, I've never had ANY trouble with it.

I trust zone alarm completely. It also give you a detail info of anyone who is trying to get on your system, I mean their their IP. You also have total control on all programs on your PC that have access to the net, you can allow, block or certain programs.
I would suggest you turn off "Alert Events Shown", this becomes annoying when the alerts are popping up often.

    I agree with everyone above.

I've used ZA for over 5 years with no problems. It's the first thing installed and runs all day.

    Highly recommend it.

The Pro version is good, but you really don't need it if you can't afford it. If you can afford the Pro version then get it, otherwise free version works perfect.

The main thing is that you can control who or what files leave or enter your computer.

    Hackers have no chance.
