I am not sure this is the right forum, I apologize if not....
After years of affiliate marketing and service providing, I am starting my own e-commerce site.
Now I am facing the challenge of writing all the legal documentation, like Terms and Conditions, Affiliate agreement, etc.
I have realized very fast that I do need a lawyer and I can't write them by myself or use any free service.
Do you have any recommendation for a reliable lawyer? I have tried locally, but it seems that very few actually understand what I am asking for. I need someone who understands affiliate world and International Internet laws

I understand what you're saying, that most lawyers aren't competent in the e-commerce world. But, at the end of the day, it all boils down to contract law.
All law reduces to contract, does it not? So anybody competent in contract law should be able to write your legal pages.
The world of statutes and laws and codes and regulations is lagging way behind when it comes to commerce over the Internet.
What does anybody else think?

Internet law is a legal specialty like criminal law and family law. 90% of legal problems require a specialist. You wouldn't go to a general surgeon for brain surgery, would you?
Also, it is not contract law; it covers a much broader area than that, crossing heavily into administrative law in dealing with governmental agencies and regulations, and patent and trademark law as well, all separate specialties on their own.
BellaGeen, where are you located?

I know there are a few lawyers that are known to the Affiliate Marketing community that are around. The first that comes to mind is Gary Kibel from Davis & Gilbert LLP. If you look up his name on LinkedIn, you'll find him and could perhaps contact him. I've worked with him a little in the past and he really knows his stuff.
