    I'm assuming you're a US-based merchant?

I think you'll have quite a bit more US affiliate reach at ShareASale.

Webgains seems to have a larger international reach.

Both are active here on ABW.

Can't speak for Webgains but would wholeheartedly recommend ShareASale pretty much to any US merchant any day.

Use your site to join both and take their affiliate accounts for a test drive. While you are at it you can see what your competition would be and what they are offering affiliates. Then you have a better understanding of how to get started.

You may want to hire an OPM (Outsource Program Manager) to review things first...

Don't use ShareASale first. Use them exclusively. If you don't find success on that network, you will not find it anywhere else.

Great advice from both Convergence and Greg!

If you don't have experience (or time), you really need to hire an Outsource Program Manager. And you'll want to do that before you set up an affiliate program, because the OPM will likely have a lot of things you need to do first.

As you seek out OPMs, you should make sure they have a good reputation, and that they approve of your network choice.

And if your program fails in SAS they will work with you to find ways to make it work. They have tons of training, blogs and excellent support so if you don't succeed just keep contacting them for help. Plus the OPMs here that tout SAS will give hints on how to make it work, just reach out to them.

    Shareasale?
I've been a strong advocate of Shareasale as I have been a member with them for many years.

However, I would suggest, if you can, look at vendors that are similar to yours and and look at their statistics from the affiliate point of view. Which of these two networks appeals more to the type of product you sell? It is possible that one network may have affiliates that are more geared to the type of product you sell.

In my jaded opinion, the only network that offers a unique set of affiliates geared toward one niche, is Avantlink. If products are in the outdoor category, they have affiliates others don't.

95% of affiliates are in all the major networks.

thanks for everyone's help and suggestions.
unfortunately after i submited my application with shareasale and made payment
i was declined by share a sale and got following letter:
Thank you for your interest in ShareASale. ShareASale is not able to accept your merchant application to the network. We thank you for your interest. A refund will be processed for your setup fees shortly.
maybe we are not meet their conditions, but this refuse without any reasons,it's sad
any other network i can apply?
