Panda4 and Payday Loan has been released.

    Anyone noticing any change?

Check out the list at the bottom of the article. It says retailmenot got hit pretty hard.

So did eBay, ouch... Losing 33% of your natural traffic in a day, that's some really big bucks!
Merchants, any data you provide to Google Shopping should also be in your affiliate network datafeed. More data means more sales!

We stepped away from PayDay loans just after the Google created their algo...

I don't really understand why Biography.com and History.com would get sacked. I've never spent a lot of time on the sites, but the content looks good to me.

On one site, yes, but that always happens and then I recoup slowly, but never 100%. Not at all on the other. There are a few more that I have, but it doesn't really matter what happens w/ those.

For us, the decline has been going on for some time - we had our domain for over 10 years and just decided time/effort could be placed elsewhere...

I've come to the same conclusion with one site. Battle fatigue won out.

I've seen a significant increase. Most of what I've lost since Q2 2012 has been long tail keyphrases that Google systematically replaced with big box crap like ebay.

The rumors about Retailmenot don't seem to be true. They still rank for anything coupon related. All they need to do is take a dump on a page and it will rank for whatever word is used with coupon.

We saw a nice increase on one of our sites but not much change on the others.

My Google organic traffic is up almost 60% since the 17th. Many of my more popular pages are getting the biggest boost, with many of my long tail keyphrase targeted pages moving up a few/several spots.

Anyone else still seeing a boost since Panda 4.0?

Out of the PayDay loan racket - however, retail has increased:

Numbers are fairly flat for me, which is a relief really after the first Panda attack nearly had me pondering what it would be like to live in my SUV.

Would any of you know if this update was to stop spammy sites or did it impact even legitimate sites? I'm curious to know weather there is still an opportunity here if one does everything white-hat and works with a legitimate loan company. Do you guys think that any new domain /site would about loans will be prevented by google from gaining ranking if SEO is done in a legitimate manner?
