It is a function of the number of posts you've done on ABW. Basically you have to earn the right. Convergence is right about the information about this on the rules page.

Thanks. I asked my question too soon. I already received an email saying I need to post 250 times.

Hello, Aul, and welcome. There is a very active affiliate marketing community in Colorado, led in great part by Jeannie, and a few other active posters here on ABW. They also have monthly meetups, so keep an eye out here for notice of the next one.

Why don't you tell us a bit about yourself, and how you are involved in affiliate marketing?

    Hello, Phil, and thank you!

Sure. To introduce myself I can tell I was born in Estonia, but I live in the US now. Since I am physically challenged, I'm not able to get a regular job out of home and I spend numerous hours online everyday to find a way to start making a regular income to be able to pay to my caregivers for the care I need from them in my daily life. Unfortunately, so far I have only found either scams or business opportunities that require a lot of money in advance. This is why I joined this forum, hoping to get some ideas that really work in practice. Affiliate marketing seems like something that might work, but my biggest problem is getting targeted traffic. Does anyone want to guide me?

You'll find lots of information here which can help you decide how you want to move forward into the affiliate world. There are many different approaches, so read a lot to see which one is most appropriate for you. Targeted traffic is a challenge for everyone, so you aren't alone in that - the type of site you decide to build will determine some of your strategies to generate traffic. There's no reason to spend any money up front - most of those courses are just junk, and you can get a free education on ABestWeb.

I would like to do CPA marketing, because I belong into several CPA networks. What would be the best traffic source for CPA offers? Thanks.

Most of those programs are lead gen, and the most common way to attract traffic for those type of offers is pay per click. Get your checkbook out to do that. You can lose a fortune while you try to figure out how it works.

Yes, I already know that feeling and that's why I'm here to find out what is the best method without breaking a bank.

That explains why you've only found expensive programs or scams so far. There isn't just one method to do it, no magic formula, and the priorities (and costs!) can change based on the program you are promoting. If that's what you've chosen as your promo style, you will definitely have to spend some of your own money on that self-education, because that's part of the process as you learn to analyze your results and adjust your campaigns in hopes of improving your results.

I'm sure you're right, but also, I'm sure there are more experienced CPA affiliates here who themselves have received some instructions from even more experienced affiliates. I don't believe in reinventing a wheel.
