It's Gonna Be Better Than Ever in NYC for ASE14!
New York City declares war on rats

    From the article:

"By some estimates, there are more rats than humans in this city of 8.4 million, although it's impossible to know for sure."
But they (well, at least some of them) are on the way out.

But, then there is THIS opinion:

"...domesticated rats make great pets. "They learn their names. You can teach them to do tricks," she said. "They're very social. If they're raised around people, they form bonds and they want to come out and be with you.".

A few Affiliate Summit NYC's ago I rented a room on the upper west side and walked back in the nights after the summit. At night they pile all the garbage from the restaurants and grocers on the corners reaching 15 feet high. Rats would run along the walls of the shops on the side walk in open view. Guess it was feeding time.

There's also a new breed of cockroach in town. Ugh!

Survivors at the end of the world: rats, cockroaches, plastic bags, clothes hangers.

Rats and cockroaches, ok, but what about the alligators in the sewers? Or did the rats eat them?
