GoDataFeed, been using it for merchants who can't get the datafeed provisioned in time for a new program launch. Am able to take their existing Google product feed or Amazon feed then morphi it to most major affiliate network feeds. They also will optimize the first two feeds.

WordPress - because of the range of plugins, the flexibility, the SEO friendliness, the ease of installation, the range of available themes, etc., etc., etc., (Mrs. Anna.)

SnapLinker by Justin Ball/AvantLink App Marketplace - made it really easy for social media affiliates to get involved with affiliate marketing and make some nice sales/commissions. Getting social and blog affiliates to adopt affiliate marketing has always been tricky with the learning curve on the network UI's but SnapLinker overcame this and made it easy to get started and make commissions right away.

ForMeToCoupon, makes my life easier, they work with the top coupon/deal affiliates so getting your collateral in there means its delivered to the right people. Plus they are accessible and publish a newsletter with some useful information. No cloak and dagger antics like other couponers.

For those affiliates who aren't familiar with Brand Verity, they provide tools for merchants to identify trademark poachers, unauthorized coupons, and other unethical behavior.

It might be easy to assume that only the merchants benefit from the services they provide, but as affiliates we indirectly benefit as well. The cleaner an affiliate program is, the more we as affiliates are able to earn with it.

Then maybe this award should be renamed, next time around, to "Best Industry Tool."
I imagine there are a "few" affiliates who can afford the subscription fees - likely the larger PPC players. However, I'm sure there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of affiliates directly using Wordpress.

Your recommendations will get due consideration.

Offhand, after a very long day and past 1:00 am when I may or may not be thinking clearly, and may be sleep-typing, I like "industry tool"; to try to separate "tools" into affiliate and merchant may be detrimental to many tools that serve both sides of the industry, such as popshops, sellfire, and others. What if one tool is nominated in both categories, and comes in second in both, but the total votes would have given it first place in one category?

    Late to this party.
I think Chucks' "Punch 'em in the nose tool" should have been nominated.

I agree with you, Phil. I always looked at "Affiliate Tool" as "Affiliate Industry Tool". I don't see the need for a separate affiliate and merchant tool category.
