Does Anyone Know How TO Repair Corrupted CJ Link Code?
    Hi,
I need to remove thousands of CJ merchant links from one of my sites, but the link code has been created when CJ created the code and prevents me from removing the cj code to just leave the link to that merchants page without the cj code.

Let me try to clarify my query with an example.

here is the URL of the page I am linking to:

Here is the page that I am linking to:
    Obituary Collection - Cadillac News - Ancestry.com

Here is the code CJ created for me and is embedded in my site:

    http://www.dpbolvw.net/click-myaffiliateID-merchant linkID?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ancestry.com%2Fsearch%2Fobit%2Fbrowsenid.aspx%3Ftp%3D2%26cj%3D1%26nid%3D183%26p%3D25

This link works as is, but if I try to return the link back to the URL of the merchant without the CJ part of the code ie:
    http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ancestry.com%2Fsearch%2Fobit%2Fbrowsenid.aspx%3Ftp%3D2%26cj%3D1%26nid%3D183%26p%3D25

The link will not work because it has been corrupted by the CJ software that created the link code.

There has to be a software tool out there for restoring corrupted URLs back to their original form.

Does anyone know the solution to this problem?

No, CJ hasn't corrupted the link, CJ has encoded the link so it can be passed as a parameter in the query string.

You can decode the url parm and it will give you the raw htpp:// link.

There are web pages that will encode or decode links for you:

    The URLEncode and URLDecode Page

Thanks Alphawave, I knew this decoder had to be out there somewhere.

You don't really need a tool, if you code in php. Its just a single cmd, urldecode.

Other scripting languages will also have similar cmds.
