    Seafood Options
I was asked to take a poll by the owner of Lobster Anywhere of what type of expansion affiliates want. There is no guarantee we can add these products to our site but at least this gives him information on what you think you can sell. This program has shown significant growth every year since we took over 4 years ago.

We currently sell lobster: live, frozen, meat, tails, whole, cakes, claws, rolls and ravioli. We sell lots of lobster. We also have steamer clams and scallops, baked stuffed jumbo shrimp, shrimp cocktail, chowders, lobster mac and cheese, crab claws, bisques and other starters.

Join Lobster Anywhere on ShareASale. It is one of the oldest programs on the network. ID #726

Here are some of the things I like (and that we are selling via The Crab Place, which has its plant in Crisfield, Maryland - the Crab Capital of the World).

    1) Crabcakes. But GOOD crabcakes, no crap with crab meat imported from Indonesia or China. They need to be prepared with Old Bay Seasoning (or close to it).

    2) Crab Soup (canned) in the two basic styles...
-- A) Cream of Crab Soup
-- B) Maryland Crab Soup, which is vegetable-based (red broth)

    3) Steamed Crabs and Live Crabs - might be difficult coming from Maine.

    4) Soft Shell Crabs are also popular (but I don't care for them - so didn't vote, which was not too bright. )

    5) Cookbooks with recipes for crabcake and soups and hors d'oeuvres.

    6) Tools for eating crabs (although I get by with a dull table knife - and maybe a wooden mallet for effect).

I am somewhat of a Crabcake snob and am working on producing a "poster" of local crabcakes that we like and would recommend. It's not finished yet, but here is a mock-up.

Need more explanation - just ask.

Bill, Lobster Anywhere has Crab cakes made from real crab, in fact, its Blue Crab, made Baltimore style, so you should like those. They also have a Crab Mac and Cheese for you non Lobster eaters (which i still just can't fathom). They also have a shrimp and scallop Cake.

We'll look into getting more Crab items though for you crabby people.

I have not yet tried the crabcakes from The Crab Place and, obviously, have not tried yours. But I have have had each of the crabcakes in the above photo - plus several that didn't "measure up."

Sampling "mail order" crabcakes might be a good project to work on as summer activities wind down. I can envision the menu now. Crab soup, steamed crabs, mail-order crabcakes from both L/A and TCP, corn on the cob and ice cold beer. Mmmmm...

Just scored a $190.94 steamed crabs order this morning (from a PopShops link). That reminded me I live - and promote - in the heart of "Crab Country." So, time for a thread-bump...

Crab Sex and our Nation's Capital! ...for a
Or, how to tell the girls from the boys.

What does crab sex have to do with Washington, DC? There are, of course, more technical descriptions, but quite simply:

The bottom of a female crab has a shape like the U.S. Capitol building.

The bottom of a male crab has a shape like the Washington Monument.
