Understand there may be a RARE occurrence where a merchant would want to extend the lock date of a transaction - I said RARE.
However, there are merchant clearly abusing this - abusing their affiliates.
"Actions lock on the 10th of the month, unless extended."
Doesn't mean you, the merchant, can extend it until your return policy runs out.
Doesn't mean you, the merchant, should extend EVERY transaction.
Merchants, be honest, just change your lock date in your program description to what it really is: 60, 90, or whatever, days. This way we, the affiliates, don't bother signing up. Now, have to write a post, get upset, wait for our money, THEN finally drop you...Salty kisses, Sandy toes, and a Pirate's heart...
