    CJ pushing SPONSORED merchants
    Really, CJ?

You give us this crappy interface that we have to use to find merchants. Then when we get the results you have "SPONSORED" merchants at the top of the search results!?!

    Really, CJ...

This is not new - I've see this in certain categories from at least a year, probably longer.

Personally, haven't used the new interface for finding merchants - because the old one was available.

Sorry you experienced such nonsense for so long...

In fairness, it's not just CJ though. Many companies do that. When I search for restaurants on Yelp, it shows "features companies" that have paid for placement. Many affiliates do it as well.

Personally, I think you lose credibility with customers, if you're not careful with this. If I'm searching for something, I want what I said I want, not a paid advertisement. If it's relevant, you can get away with it If it's not, that's where I have a problem.

Are the CJ "featured merchants" relevant to your searches?

Yeah, not sure why you're surprised unless the results are less than relevant. They've offered "enhanced listings" for years.

    Quasi related -

Trying to use as many filters as possible to narrow searches down for merchants with no relationship, in a specific category, target market US/Canada, etc. - Sponsored were merchant programs targeting Puerto Rico, merchants already approved for, etc.

BTW, the filters don't work well. Tried USD currency - no results, lol...
