    Coupon Codes...
Merchants/AMs/OPMs, please try to be a little more creative when naming your coupon codes.

AFFILIATE30 or AFF30 simply looks so unprofessional - why not replace "AFFILIATE" and "AFF" with something more descriptive? The word "AFFILIATE" should never be used, IMhO.

    Thanks...

I'd ask who was doing that but I have a feeling it's far more common than I'd like to know.

And make it simple. No mixed case. No special characters. No confusing letters/numbers (letter O vs. number 0, letter L vs. number 1, letter S vs. number 5, etc.).

I'm with you guys on this - we do vanity codes that use the affiliate name and some identifying factor about the deal... generic deals that are open to all affiliates still get a name that doesn't involve "affiliates" or "aff"

One of my pet peeves is affiliates who have a content site with an "affiliates" page where they post their links. Shoppers don't know or care what "affiliate" means.
