Are press releases by email any good?
Just wanted to ask if you ever had any luck in promoting an affiliate tool
by sending press releases to people you don't already know. Why do I have the feeling that they will end up in their email trash the minute they read the title?

Title is everything... gives a chance to your email...

What is the title that would catch your attention?!

People who read press releases aren't necessarily buyers. A press release may help get your tool picked up by sites that may send you some curious individuals. Why not do some display advertising?

I can't imagine a circumstance in which I would personally ever read one of these. That being said, I'm amazed at what types of email people will open. A catchy title would be a must.

They used to help with SEO but G killed that. Press Releases are read by the press and not consumers. Money better spent elsewhere.
