Just wanted to ask if you ever had any luck in promoting an affiliate tool
by sending press releases to people you don't already know. Why do I have the feeling that they will end up in their email trash the minute they read the title?

People who read press releases aren't necessarily buyers. A press release may help get your tool picked up by sites that may send you some curious individuals. Why not do some display advertising?

I can't imagine a circumstance in which I would personally ever read one of these. That being said, I'm amazed at what types of email people will open. A catchy title would be a must.Erin Walsh,

They used to help with SEO but G killed that. Press Releases are read by the press and not consumers. Money better spent elsewhere.
