    Radio Shack Closes Program (Immediately)
    Just got this:
Radio Shack has decided to deactivate their affiliate program on eBay Enterprise Affiliate Network. They are making some internal changes and will cease all marketing efforts.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter. In the mean time, please take down all affiliate links and banners immediately. You will not be paid on any sales sent through affiliate links after TODAY 8/6/14 5:00PM
FYI, if you haven't been following, they are closing in on bankruptcy:
RadioShack is running out of cash: Moody's
Merchants, any data you provide to Google Shopping should also be in your affiliate network datafeed. More data means more sales!

No wonder, they can't sell anything because they're tremendously overpriced.

They would leave a giant void if they went belly up. Where else can you walk in to a store and be able to find a fuse or a battery for a not-so-common piece of equipment? I recently looked EVERYWHERE for a cordless phone battery and no other B&M store carried the right one but them, and the same goes for a lot of replacement parts. I'd never purchase a big-ticket item there, though.

Not in their affiliate program so I can't comment on that.

I find Fryes to be a lot better.

Didn't think of Fryes, probably because the closest one from here is still quite a distance and because of the horrible checkout lines, and I once had a really bad experience with a total idiot clerk there. Conversely, I've generally found RS staff to be pretty helpful and friendly.

They tried to charge me $28 for a car power end. Just the end, splits in half and you attach the cord under screws then close it up. Then the punk kid wanted two forms of ID to accept my credit card. I called Master Card while I was standing right there and took care of that, then he told me $28 (they don't have prices on anything) and I told them to stick it where the sun don't shine. Four bucks at Walmart.
