    Joining Merchant Programs
So, I had looked at the "Media Partner" app form, and then I was sent a link to join through Target. That app form looked identical, except it said
    "Target" at the top.

I was accepted into the Target program, but when I log in, I only see Target-related stuff.

Can I now see and can I apply to additional merchant programs, or would I have to start over and apply anew to IR or to programs directly, for access to additional merchants? And, if so, is there a way to import the info I put in my first app, as it took quite awhile to write out info about many of my different sites?

    Arf,

You have to click on MarketPlace and then All Campaigns.
Watch there's a lot of the Currently in Default....

Thanks, Bob, but I don't have a "Marketplace" link, what I have is only-Target specific.

Must be because I have these 3 22" monitors set for Hi Resolution.
Mr Convergence always has to do the same.

Phil - Did you ever figure this out as I'm having the same issue? Only seeing Target related pages.

Thanks Phil - I guess I'll wait with you. I'm finding the whole IR thing confusing. I filled in my Profile info only to click the Basic Corporate Information and see that it is kind of asking for the same info. It states:

The basic corporate information will be included in your company's marketplace listing, as well as your joined partners' contact lists.
In the Corporate Information they want your EIN/SSN. I don't want the info public. Maybe I'll understand better when I have access to the Marketplace. <sigh>

Phil - Not trying to highjack your thread but thought you or someone might be able to answer this for me.

If I go under My Campaigns I see Target listed there. If I click on the Target text name it opens a small window with this at the top "Campaign is currently in Default."

Any clue as to what that means?

I've pretty much given up on IR - despise the damn UI and despise the terminology.

Have a single active merchant with them - and when they go, I go. I could care less about ever getting paid. Great people, really - but...

That's how much I despise that network.

    Received this from TARGET yesterday:
    Welcome to Target Affiliate Program!

    Hi $contactName

You have just been migrated to Target campaign. See the details below.

    Payout:

An account has already been created for you and is now ready for use. Your account credentials are:

    Username: Partner XXX
    Password: AUTO_PWD_1234567890

Login in to start promoting today!
Hmmm...just love being addressed as $contactName.

Sooooo...I clicked the "login" button and OF COURSE the Username/Password did NOT work. The error message had the look of the Target page but the same wording as at Impact Radius for an incorrect user/pass. Hmmmmm.

So I went to IR and logged in (first made an error in user/pass and got the same error wording as on the target URL).

Once logged in - OF COURSE I was NOT "migrated" into the Target program. I didn't expect to be - how would they know my account credentials at IR?

In summary: IR has me confused. Target has me confused. I did well with Target at GAN - did nothing at PJ - will do nothing at IR. I am trying to simplify things - don't need the hassle these days. Goodbye Target.

Am with Convergence - I, too, like the people at IR but do NOT like the network as it is set up.

Brief follow-up. I went back to the Target email and used their Login link again.
The landing page URL = https://affiliates.target.com/bla/Target/login.user
Only this time I tired my Impact Radius user/pass. so.....

Yes, I got into the site, which was, indeed, IR..
No, I was not in migrated to the Target Program.

Somehow I am NOT surprised. What a convoluted mess. Target and IR should be ashamed.

    Brief follow-up #2...
Just received this in email from IR:
    Insertion Order Application

Your request to promote Target's campaign, Target, has been sent. You may view all your pending insertion orders by clicking the button below.
Clearly one hand does not know what the other hand is doing. Such a shame.

I too find IR very confusing. I only have one merchant thru these guys and get plenty of clicks but never a sale.

I've only put up few IR Target links, but also have a few clicks but no sales. Of course, with eBay/PJ, I had plenty of clicks and very few sales, unlike the "good old days".

I didn't have them on GAN, But have them on Ebay Partner network,
I applied for them on IR and got declined so I emailed them and was amaized that I got a response back.
They pushed me an offer. What a joke... I click on the offer and it takes me to the login page........

Scroll to the bottom of the page after you log in and look for a link that says "apply to the marketplace" or something similar. This will apply you to join the IR network. Once you are approved, you will have an IR look and feel and access to the marketplace (other advertisers). The reason you only see target is we offer a branded solution in addition to a network solution. If you need more help, just email support@impactradius.com and they'll help you out.

What I see is "Join Platform" - I guess that is it.

But - will I need to fill out a whole new app, including descriptions of all my sites like I did for Target? That took forever.

Yes - Join Platform - No you don't need to create a new account or fill out a form. It uses the same account = username/password

Todd - Thanks for the Join Platform instructions.

    What does this mean?

    Campaign is currently in Default.
A bit concerned that the first program (Target) I join on IR is showing this.

Many advertisers that use Impact Radius utilize our private, white-labeled solution. This means when they recruit new partners to join their program, they signup and login from an advertiser branded experience. However some affiliates want to work with more than one advertiser on IR and prefer a "network" like view where they see an IR branded UI and can manage (run reports, get links, get paid) across multiple advertisers. SO if you join a white-labeled advertiser, later you can convert to an IR platform partner and work with other advertisers on IR.

    Make sense?
