If someone is a CJ member and chooses to join a particular merchant's affiliate program, when they click the join button is the joining immediate, or does the member have to be reviewed by the merchant after which an email is sent with the decision?
If there might be a review done, is there any way for a member to tell before clicking the join button if a particular merchant has a review process before approval is given, or if joining for that merchant is immediate?

    rhon,

A merchant can choose to either automatically accept all publishers or review them manually. Do to the amount of fradulent sites in the CJ network (kicked out 30 this week) I manually approve. As far as the publisher interface I am not sure.

30 affiliates were kicked out this week? What did I miss?

Ok so a merchant can choose. But is there a way for a prospective publisher to know in advance if there is automatic approval or automatic review?

Nope. I don't have a problem with that, but I don't like, that you can not see in the "Your Advertisers" Listings the date applied and date joined and date rejected.

One thing that I think would be nice is those that do reject us, would be if they could give us a legitimate reason for doing so

    legitimate reasons:

    1. The reviewer make a mistake when doing his/her job.

    2. The reviewer do not visit the sites to make a good judgement.

all sites that I booted this week were either

    a) .netfirm extension sites with absolutely no content except 1 box for banners, these sites are FRAUDS everytime they get into our system.

    b) sites that had http://somename.com and came up w/o a site live. Somehow one got in and amazingly started producing 100% conversions. Go you!
