November 10th, 2014, 01:51 PM #1Is Veteran's Day the New Black Friday?
It seems like virtually every merchant around now features bigger and better Veteran's Day sales. In fact, an article in the LA Times compares these sales to those held on Black Friday.
Affiliates, do you do big promotions for Veteran's Day? Do you have a problem with such promotions revolving around a holiday like this, as opposed to more frivolous and/or festive holidays like Thanksgiving, the 4th of July, or even Labor Day?
Like most such sales, however, for merchants, Veteran's Day began last Friday, and is not limited to the one day.
Did you spent time promoting Veteran's Day sales, or are you going to do it now? Or, if not, why not?

Unless a merchant has specific promotions that are logical, and released in advance, no special marketing...Salty kisses, Sandy toes, and a Pirate's heart...

What's logical about the Old Black Friday? I'm a Pavlov's Dog for any NewEgg's promo, and holidays are a perfect reason to salivate. Google suggests "Veterans day deals" at the 2nd position. No special need to ring the bell...
