What qualities do you look for in an Affiliate Manager?
Seeing that "A Best Web" is full of individual marketers, I wanted to hear some feedback from the community on the qualities and expectations of your Affiliate Managers? What shouldn't they do? What can they do better?

Trust...and honesty. A willingness to answer any of your questions without making you feel like you're bothering them. And a positive attitude.

P.S. everyone here will be looking to you to post more information about yourself in the "Introduce Yourself" subforum. I highly doubt you'll get many more responses until you do so.

    Good luck. -Joe

Availability or at least following up with a response in a business day or two.
Screening applications daily rather than monthly.
Willingness to make suggestions to the affiliate on how they can run better placements on their site.

I'm very willing to make suggestions to our affiliates for better conversion rate, but seldom get any response. So sad

I lost my patience a long time ago. You either get it or you don't. But those that get it, will get my attention.

Constantly monitoring tracking to make sure affiliates are getting credit for all transactions and if there is ever a problem IMMEDIATELY informing affiliates. Nothing sucks like the
"Oh, by the way, tracking has been down since the Gerald Ford Administration, but we're working on getting it fixed, and we'll make it good for all of our valuable affiliates" message.
