SAS Product Discovery Bookmarklet - this tool wasn't first to market as far as network linking bookmarklet tools go, but I think it was the most complete in it's functionality, making it easy for affiliates to quickly and easily deep link to any page and offering multiple options for editing copy and linking either from a website or via social media. I'm also a fan of the revised Make A Page tool from SAS as they took what was a pretty simplistic page builder and added a lot of flexibility and power and come up with a tool that strikes a blow at the need for 3rd party page builder tools.

It might not be a super popular nomination with some, but I'd like to throw in FMTC and their family of tools as well as those guys are doing some pretty cool work to empower bloggers to show targeted deals and keep them up to date and helping some of the bigger coupon players out there keep on top of current deals and promo's. The team there is experienced and talented and has been great to work with.

I'll go with Brand Verity. I use it everyday to keep my programs clean from trademark poachers. The problem is, I keep finding them. They are like roaches. If I wasn't using Brand Verity, there would be no way to catch them as fast as we do.

In the spirit of the Jason Rubacky nominations of the past, I nominate Joe Sousa... who is a great support resource for affiliates with his 10+ years of experience on the affiliate side of the biz, while at the same time being less of a tool in other ways... unless you're a PPC violator or toolbar operator.

I am actually glad to see Joe Sousa losing the Tool of the Year in a landslide.

The Best Affiliate Tool in any Year would be Patience!

    Why?

Well, while it's true that those nominated on this poll are good tools and the the best tool for some affiliates, they're not really the best and only tools for affiliates, or #1 tool for everyone else...

    Reasons?

1 - Not enough affiliate tools nominated on this thread...
2 - For some of the tool listed you would need some Time to learn how to use it...
3 - For some of the tool listed you would first need Money to buy the tool, and then the time to learn how to use it...
4 - And while experience is not there in one of the best tools nominated, never leave it out of the equation...

5 - You can have the best tool around and you can have a lot of free time to learn new tings, you can have a lot of money and buy any good tool but..., what about experience with tools, money and time?

Unless you have the time to first plant the seed, have the Patience to make sure the tree grows, and then harvest the fruits, you may only be able to eat the fruits on only one season...

Tools can and will be upgraded or obsolete at anytime...
    Time flies by the second...
    Money don't last that much...
    Experience may help...
Patience is a virtue, timeless, priceless and...

I'm glad it made this poll!
