Voting is now open for all of the polls: Multiple votes are allowed and all votes are private. Poll ends on March 31, 11:59 pm and winners will be announced on April 1. To avoid non-members coming it just to vote for their friends or co-workers, a minimum 25 post count will be required for your vote to count.

The fact that you have to keep reminding people to Nominate, then extend the time to nominate and then keep reminding people to vote says a lot. Time to let this go ABW, the results mean nothing and has been this way for several years now. Anyone who thinks winning one of these awards mean anything is so sad.

Actually, voting is up substantially this year over last year - some categories from 10% to 40% higher already with time still to go.

Yes. We had a slew of new people coming in just to vote - their votes were all removed from the count.

How can votes be up this year if it looks like they are down at least 50%?

With multi-option polls you are going to have a lower count of voters vs number of votes.

Once the shill votes have been removed by the drive-by voters, numbers should be more accurate. However, I'm not sure if vBulletin leaves the number of voters in when votes have been adjusted...
