As Google is putting a lot of power towards branded websites exact match domain names aren't as vital when it comes to ranking. You are best to give it a branded domain name and go with that. Also by not going exact match (keyword) you have a bit more flexibility when it comes to the keywords you can use on your site without the fear of over-optimization.

    I hope this helps

Think more about your visitors rather than Google.

Some people create websites called: iwanttobuynewiphone6.com - ehmm, what's the point? People are not gonna remember you as a brand, neither you can quickly write it down or spell.

Go short, something "good looking" and if you can put a keyword in. Some of our examples: CasinoYAY, MrBinary, PokerFear, Investorzzz etc...

Always think more about your visitors. With that said, exact match domains still seem to do well in Bing and Yahoo search. While BingHoo may not be as big as The Goog, they still represent a good volume of traffic.

In addition, as MrBinary said, 'Go short, something "good looking" and if you can put a keyword in.' If you can do that you may gain a slight edge in some search results and, obviously, with visitors "remembering" the domain. I have been fortunate to gather a selection of domains that are both exact match and easy to remember. Just two examples: "Army Checks" and "Merry Go Round Checks" (both in dot com).

If you are talking about having keyword in domain then it doesn't matter because even big giant in Search Engine Optimization industry MOZ doesn't have any keyword about SEO or something. They selected name which is unique and not somewhere used before for branding purpose

After years of doing this and that, I've come to realize that above all the domain should SCREAM OUT what the site offers. Like Bill and MrBinary said.

When it comes to Google, having keywords in the domain name will be rewarded by the keywords appearing as bold text, which could cause a higher click-through rate, but it will not improve the ranking of the site anymore, and that's about it.
When it comes to Bing, what Bill said.

Content can't be a king alone..

Content is surely a king but a king alone cannot win wars.It has to walk hand in hand with other factors as well which are Keywords, meta tags, anchor text, alt tag etc.(or you can say they are soldiers of the king).

We can say "Quality content is king". But don't think quality as length of an article. Content should be Unique and Quality content are more valuable. Think value for the user. If it has value users will link, tweet and share it.

Absolutely. without meaningful content there is no way to drive traffic into your site.
