I don't wish or like to visit particular places but i like meeting new people from different locations, community and cultures. Lakes are one of my best places to chill out on weekends.

Lakshadweep, part of the Indian Subcontinent, is a group of islands in the Arabian Sea and also the smallest Union Territory of India. The name 'Lakshadweep' literally means 'hundred thousand islands' in Sanskrit. The whole of Lakshadweep is made up of a total 12 coral atolls, 5 banks, 3 coral reefs, and several inlets. Blessed with an unmatched natural beauty, the exotic coral reef island of the union territory is an interesting blend of scenic beauty coupled with modern infrastructural facilities that draw several tourists to this place from across the globe.

We use to go to Arizona quite often and nothing in the world can compare to Sedona and to the Grand Canyon. My first visit to both was almost 40 years ago (before anyone ever heard of Sedona) and we drove south from the Grand Canyon through Oak Creek, and at the base when the narrow, tree-lined road next to the creek opens up revealing this majestic panorama of bright red rock formations, it defies words. We went back several more times through the 1990s, and to other parts of Arizona that are almost as amazing, including Indian ruins, seeking out old ghost towns, and even the biosphere II outside of Tucson, but I will never ever go back to that state or spend a dime there so long as their fascist government is in power.

California is also full of fabulous sights, and having lived my entire live here, I'm spoiled by such things and in my younger days did not fully appreciate them. To drive up highway 1 along the coast, from LA to at least the bay area, is a fabulous experience that I have done dozens of times. Areas along the way that are incredibly majestic and that also defy description include the Big Sur Coast, especially those hidden spots that you really have to search out, the Monterey Peninsula, and of course San Francisco Bay, North of SF, framed by the Golden Gate Bridge. The majestic redwood forests of are also remarkable sights. Sequoia Nat Park and other such areas are amazing - my daughter went to school at UC Santa Cruz and the campus is built in the middle of a redwood forest. Amazing. Finally, another incredible place to visit is Yosemite Nat Park - the mountains, the valleys, all gorgeous, especially in the winter when it has been snowing. Been there several times as well, and there is always something new and breathtaking to see.

Ten years ago I would have said the view from Charles Bridge, Prague.
Now, I say anywhere in Southeast Asia (outside cities).
Nature is incredibly beautiful, always, everywhere.

Just went to St. Charles Bridge in Prague last month. Loved it!!! Half-Dome at Yosemite literally took my breath away. Didn't realize that was actually possible until that moment.

We've been many incredible places, but Hawaii is the beauty that we keep returning to. So many incredible beaches, lush vegetation, and such clear and beautiful water.

I've been to 44 of our 50 United States and we have traveled to 15 (or so) countries and for "natural beauty" I really liked Roatan Island, Honduras. However, I live when hundreds of thousand of people vacation - so it's actually quite nice right here. For example, here's what I did this morning - used my new Renegade to visit the shore of a local creek for some sunrise photography:

Had I gone two miles in the other direction I would have been on the beach.
@ Lifeisablog - you should try our beach sometime. I get to Myrtle Beach every so often because we have a website and FB Page about the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. We do like Myrtle Beach, too, but this is "home."

Ashville, NC is beautiful - was there mid-June.

22 years in Colorado I have seen all the most beautiful places it has to offer.

However, really fond of Emerald Isle, NC...

the most beautiful place i've visited so far is the Maldives. It is the home of the best beaches in the world, it has whiter-than-white powder sand and luminous cyan-blue water.

Oh my gosh I was literally about to come here and post the exact same thing!

The Maldives is definitely one of the most beautiful places to visit on Earth. It is like a small tear drop of paradise in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by coral reefs and sea life filling the water in an ecosystem of absolute beauty. Laying around on white sandy beaches sipping a Mojito is definitely a dream I want to experience again!

One of my favorites was Cape Town South Africa back in 1994 where I stayed at one of the resort called The Bay. Loved the slow pace and lack of traffic in town. Not overly commercialize at that time.

I am with MC. Visiting Maui a few years ago had a huge impact on me. So much so that I was ready to move there...although my wife didn't have quite the same feelings about living so remotely isolated.

Can't wait to get my kids there again now that they are getting older, and will remember more.
