Does anyone have any ideas about which merchants or content I can throw up on my webtv page. I'm going to put a few links up to buy computers but other than that I can't really think of anything. I really need some game sites that are compatible with webtv but can't find any at all. I don't even think webtv tracks cookies anymore. I get pounded with emails everyday asking for help finding games. Hmmm, might be a good place for a search engine huh, ANy ideas???

I thought I read that Linkshare doesn't use cookies. I wonder if they track webtv?

Internet appliances like the WebTV all see to have lost their appeal with the anufacturers. Try placing TigerDirects iPaq links on the page since they sell the coplete 595.00 package for 99.00 and it has none of the WebTV limitations. They alos have the peripherals for the unit at goos prices so your can explain the package deal with a text and product picture link.

I am under the impression that linkshare would have to use cookies to create a commission on return visits.
The only other way would be to track IP's, but each IP would be from a webtv server, so no good there.
I know one of my casino programs tracks on cookies & ip's, but I don't think that linkshare does ip's

LinkShare does indeed track cookies for return days. The difference is that they are the merchant(s) persistent cookie, not LinkShare's.

I was wondering how they would track sales. I remember reading where they said thats what made them different from other programs.

Obstinatedon, is this good or bad???
