Here is an open discussion to your thoughts of AM in Asia.
As we know internet marketing as a whole including networks, affiliates, and merchants are all very common and well established in US / Europe. However, this is not the case in Asia. There are only a number of networks and most of the people from where I live (Hong Kong) have never even heard of the word "affiliate" before. I have a couple of theory as to why this is the case such as people in Asia are still very skeptical about purchase being made online and that all the brick and motor shops are so accessible. Despite the fact, I do notice a lot of opportunities and a lot of companies making a stride towards e-commerce. Take a look at TaoBa or Rakuten they are global giants in the industry.
Anyways, let me know what you guys think and let's keep this an open discussion.

When you say Asia what countries and languages do you mean? To my understanding Japan and Korea do a ton of online buying.
