How 'bout this? Someone bought *92 DVDs* of the Queen's party at Buckingham Palace!

Why you'd want one copy of that tripe is beyond me, but 92???

And yeah, the sale did go through and the items have shipped already.

Heh. Actually it wasn't in stock judging by the delay between ordering and shipping.

I've been wondering who on earth it might have been? I decided maybe a shop. But why 92? Why not 100?

Far as I know no organization got 92 tickets allocated so it can't have been for a souvenier of a happy day out :/

Perhaps it was the Privy Council trying to make the Queen believe she is popular, or something. I'm going to be on the lookout for any organization using sales of these items as an indicator of anything in particular.

Actually, thinking about it, these items probably went to the US. You lot all like the Queen, don't you? And it was on a site geared towards Americans.

Send me $20 and you can have the Duke of Edinburgh too! He's life-size, comes with a full set of shiny masonic regalia - and when you pull his chain a charmingly quaint series of racist epithets issue forth..!

Great for parties! (Diplomatic functions excepted.)

Not all of us. I have nothing against her(don't know enough to, don't follow that stuff) - I'm just opposed to the whole concept.

Maybe the purchase was somebody stocking up on revenge gifts? Give me a crappy birthday present and guess what you get for yours.

But 92, maybe a forced retirement or canning of some exec at a company with 92 other employees - another form of revenge gift.

Unless he spent the company's party fund for it.
