A Happy and Vegan Thanksgiving To All
I hope everyone has had a great Thanksgiving.

In recent years, we've usually gone to our favorite local Vegan restaurant for Thanksgiving, but this year I cooked. I'd just like to take the opportunity to dispel some myths and and show that a feast is still a feast though it might be Vegan - that is, including no animal products at all, including not just no meat, but also no milk, butter, eggs, cheese, etc.

Our main course was the only store-bought product (other than a can of cranberries), Gardein meatless Turk'y Cutlets with gravy, and I prepared Vegan versions of stuffing, sauteed green beans and candied yams. All this is made with no butter, milk, eggs, etc., and without prematurely terminating the life of a beautiful feathered friend. And I also baked an egg-less, butter-less, milk-less cake.

    Happy holidays, Vegan style!
