quote:
We believe in the theory of the 'greatest good' and operate from that viewpoint. No company can survive over the long haul without providing a fair exchange to those it relies on to conduct business. We believe that companies which benefit from hijacking content are not 'in exchange' with the very publishers they rely on to supply the content and traffic for their advertisers. Therefore, we feel it is both an illogical and unethical basis from which to conduct business

The CJ folks are fond of the term "survival strategy".

    Well there's one for ya.

The big networks know that the parasites will eventually, sooner rather than later, deal directly with the merchants, effectively cutting out the "middle man" third party (them).

So they will take what they can get for the time being, and push for more while they can take it.

The sad thing is, when the parasites drop the networks and the networks come groveling at our feet, so many SHEEP will praise them for "taking a stance" by not working in collusion with the parasites any more.

That's my rant for today. And I actually like CJ. Just the thought that if the parasites get go down in flames, they may drag CJ down with them, scares the living shiznit out of me.
