To whomever is interested:
I wanted a way to write a regular web page with ordinary affiliate links, but then go back over them with a script to cloak the links. It was taking too much time to do each link by hand into a database, so I wrote a script that any of you are more than welcome to use and/or test.
The way it works is: write your page like normal, using regular affiliate links, then run the php script.
For each link it finds it will do 1 of 3 things:
1) It will be a link on your domain, or any "relative" link (i.e. href="page.html") and ignore it,
2) It will find the same link already in the database and encode it properly in the rewritten page, or
3) It will discover that the link is not yet in the database, insert it in the database, and encode it properly in the rewritten page.
This is very, very BETA, but I have been using it on my site with great success, so I thought I would share it.
Requires php, mysql, and ftp. My first shot at distributing anything worth while, so let me know how it works.
The zip file can be downloaded here (4kb).
It can be used freely with ONE CONDITION: please get back to me on how you use it, improvements (other than appearance), or if it just plain sucks...
There is a readme file to help you with it.

Gordon, he only has 36 posts. Don't think he can PM you yet. Hopefully he will be back to read this post. I'm real curious about the script and anxious to look at it. I know other affiliates who have done this sort of thing but do not know if it helps sales any or not.
