    Hi,

I run a UK based dating site targeting the international community.
We are considering launching with an Australian network but have little info to go on currently.

What are the best networks and how to they compare?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Sam

    I would highly recommend:

    clixgalore.com.au
    checkmystats.com.au
    dgmaustralia.com
    sitelink.com.au

but NOT commissionmonster.com.au as they have had ongoing technical issues for months - lack of affiliate stats reporting and they kick affiliates for reporting or asking on issue progress!

    Thumbs down Commission Monster
I just sent an email to Commission Monster (sales@), and got two replies:

"The message you sent to commissionmonster.com.au/sales was rejected
because the quota for the mailbox has been exceeded"

    +

"this has been treated as spam".

Many of the links within their site are broken, even important ones like where an affiliate can sign-up.

Remarkably sales are being tracked, & reporting is improving (although I often get a page that says Server Error in '/' Application). The last check I received was in Feb 2005.

    Update:
All issues for commissionmonster appear to be resolved and I'm pleased to say I'm a happy commissionmonster affiliate.

Angela i have been to the site twice looking for information , it is a very pretty site but gives virtually no information.

I appreciate that you want merchants to email you for more details or use the contact form on the site to have some sort of dialogue with prospects but I found it very off putting and did not go ahead because I figured that I will be dealing with a company that either wants a huge start up figure or massive ongoing costs or has very few affiliates or little experience at what they are doing and that must be the reason there is no readily accessible information. If you can't sell yourselves I am concerned that you can't help sell me to potential affiliates.

As a small business i am prepared to give 10% commission to affiliates on sales as a cost of goods sold expense in lieu of other off line advertising expenses, plus the network commission, but I did hope to be wooed a little bit . It has been an eye opener that in fact locating a network, finding information about the product and services has been so difficult. Which means afffilate marketing isn't working too well ? Don't the networks have their own affiliate programs to attract merchants? I have never encountered any except the big CJ, linkshare etc and then Share a sale who are very forthcoming on information and support issues.

Just thought I would put out feelers.

    Susan
