They used to be connectcommerce, now they've changed to Performics.
I love the way you can create your own product links, as opposed to the product links at cj where many of them are obsolete.

Has anyone used them..and if so are you happy with them?

I'm pretty happy with performics. The affiliate networks are close to the same now (Befree, Linkshare, CJ, and Performics).

Good affiliate program. Look at their merchants -- they have a solid group, including some top "names." One item, though -- even though they aggregate all of your merchant payments into one online statement, like CJ, they do not pay all of it at one time like CJ does. Instead, they pay when the merchants pay them. So, you might go an extra 30 days on some merchants. The checks you get from Performics have detail showing which merchants are paying you.

    Yeap, that's a bunch of $%1+

The money I made there in August is still outstanding. It's several hundred dollars and I am about to become a real thorn in their side if it does not show up REAL SOON!

I was gonna sign up with some more merchants over there when I re-read the agreement. There's a $50 min on each merchant and no consolidated check?? I have to think this through. Call me spoiled. Call me a cj addict. Just don't call me "paid late or not paid at all".

I did finally get an approval on day 8 for a merchant, after I wrote to the mysterious info@performics addy about waiting more than 7 days for approval.

Errr, Haiko, any chance we can get someone from Performics in the Q&A area?

Webmistress, you've been reading my mind!
I was going to ask Haiko if there was a chance of getting someone from performics over here for a Q&A.

They've got a great setup with the link builder and other good features, but they're also sadly lacking in certain departments.
And I'm still waiting for answers or at least acknowledgement they received my emails.
I've got some of their clients links up and I've been approved for another today, but until I have an answer on my email, I'm rather hesitant to start building more.

Performics could build a great business if they talked to affiliates and found out what "we" need to work efficiently and confidently.

I've been promoting several Performics merchants since last spring, and despite what it says in the fine print, the checks I have received were consolidated to pay for sales from all the merchants. Performics only pays for transactions for which they have received payment from the merchant, so there can be a long delay between the date of the transaction and when the commission arrives in your hands. For that reason I'd say to be cautious about promoting Performics merchants with PPC search engines if the delay would cause problems in your cash flow management. But they're worth promoting on pages for which you have relevant free traffic. They don't pay fast but they do pay.

On the dark side: If there's a place in their stats that shows reversals, I haven't come across it. I hate seeing reversals in my reports at CJ, but it also makes me uneasy not knowing if there have been any.

As others have commented, Performics is kinda slow on the service/information side, but e-v-e-n-t-u-a-l-l-y a response comes. Sometimes they're even intelligent. A few folks in their office are quite insensitive to issues of "tone" in writing, so sometimes their letters come across as prickly and pedantic. You have to learn to read past that.

Performics is really skittish about affiliates doing anything to get their pages found in searches for a merchant's name, or product names. They don't want affiliates ranking higher than the merchant for the merchant's own trade names, which is actually a reasonable concern, but at one point I was told I couldn't bid on certain terms in PPC search engines even though the merchant did not otherwise have a presence in several pages of results. Grrr...

Overall I'd say it's worth testing some Performics merchants and see how they perform for you. The biggest thing to be aware of is the slow payment.

MouseJockey, FWIW I just got an email from Perfomics with a report showing that they are mailing my check out. The report shows what commissions from what merchants. They combined them like Elisabeth said. I thought I had to reach a minimum of $50.00 from each merchant also so that was a nice surprise to see I'm getting a check from all the merchants combined. <IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif>

Thanks for the posts, guys. I will keep the one site right now with the performics merchants to see how it does. It gets rid of one LS merchant that hasn't converted, and gives me a chance to put Kitchen Etc.. in comparison to the almighty (but lousy 5% commish) Amazon. Sure would like a higher commish, but ya know, folks actually buy from Amazon, and they pay out.

Go for it, Haiko! Rah, rah!
