    I got a sale today with a status code of GRD (Gross demand captured by ConnectCommerce).

    What the heck does that mean? Does anyone know?

    From what I understand, it means that the customer might have used a coupon/discount code/etc, and this is the purchase before the discount was applied. You might get the amount reduced later on, and the status will become "CD"(Cash discount has been applied).

    Let me guess..... The GRD was with Newport News. They are the only vendor I see changing the status which drives me crazy!

    I track sales daily and what happens is if a sale is posted on monday with GRD it will show up again maybe Wednesday with no status (which appears to be the closing transaction). The intial sale that was recorded on Monday now does not show up on Monday - It shows for Wednesday.

    So, The end result is utill you're aware of this, you think you're getting lots of orders with Newport but you're really getting half as many as you think!

    I for one am against changing sales dates due to a status code and would like Newport to stop this practice! It's the only company I have at performics that I see this with.

    Yup! You're right - It was Newport News and it does seem silly doesn't it??? I'm not sure I like this practice either.
