    Recently started using Orvis from Performics. One transaction showed up yesterday with $0 as order amount and $0 as commission. Can anyone please explain how an order be placed with $0 in total? I am confused.

    This is common. I have about 5-7 of these $0 sales each month. What happens is that the tracking of the sale goes ok, but then something happens in reporting the dollar amount (on Orvis's end).

    Orvis, a few days after the end of each month, goes in and adjusts these $0 sales to reflect how much was sold/earned. It's kind of aggravating having to wait until the beginning of the following month, but Orvis has always properly credited these $0 sales in my own account before.

    If the sales in question occurred this month (July), it won't be corrected until the first week in August, more or less. Orvis waits till the end of the month and then reconciles all these $0 sales.

    The good news is that these $0 sales are becoming less common. Back in November and December, almost half my sales were this way.

    The only way I've ever got 0$ orders corrected was by talking with the folks at performics and asking them to correct it.

    The correction process does take place at or just after month end processing in these case where I have asked them to be corrected. So if you have a $0 dollar order in July don't hold your breath for them to self correct it - at least thats my experience.

    Why these kinds of orders occur I don't know but in my experience they have never been a catalog request.
