Just got an email yesterday that they are reducing commission from 10% down to 8.5%

Guess it's time to take down their links

how do they convert for you, though . . . some AM's can be negotiated with if there is enough business.

how about those computer merchants that only pay 2-3 percent? I think 8.5 is not that bad.

I actually don't have a problem with the % per se.

I do have a problem with commissions going down tho

Why don't you give them a chance to negotiate a better rate with you Jack.

I hate to say it, but don't switch your links yet!

In CJ, there is a 7-day delay before commission deflation goes into effect. So for now, the bad news is currently hiding in the "Offers Pending Your Approval" section of the CJ Account Manager.

When (I assume that'll be a "when" since nobody with any neurons would approve a drop in their own commissions) you don't approve it, it'll automatically go into effect after the waiting period. That's the 10th, for this "offer."

Not that I would discourage switching to CJ from Perf in general, but that's a lot of w*rk to do just to have the commissions end up the same in a few days.

Thanks, Leader. I just deleted my post before I saw yours. After I posted, I remembered I hadn't checked my pending offers lately. You are absolutely right. Kitchen Etc has reduced the commission rate to 8.5% at CJ too.

The thing is that there are products that I promote that sell more than others. I'm thinking the benefit of CJ is the faster payment. I might just switch some of the products that I see frequent sales on, and watch it for a while to see if sales improve or decrease.
