Like at CJ, you can imbed an SID and track sales from various locations, sources, etc...

    Does Performics have this ability???

Just for reference, here are the elements for different networks:

    Linkshare: u1=
    CJ: SID=
    BeFree: bfinfo=
    Performics: mid=
    SAS: afftrack=

Very useful, thank you both. These parameters can be very helpful in determining location and placement success.

Michael - where does this show up in the Linkshare or Befree reporting? And is the Linkshare: &u1= or ?u1= at the url end? Same for Befree, ?btinfo= or &btinfo.

I see the column at both CJ & Performics for this but nothing at Linkshare

With any of them, you use a ? if you don't have any other parameters or a & if you already have a ? and other parameters.

    For instance:

    http://www.qksrv.com/click-1234-5678?SID=google

    or

    http://www.lqksrv.com/click-1234-5678?URL=...&SID=google

With Linkshare, I think you have to ask them to enable the reporting for your account.

Perfect, thanks Michael for the clarification...One question, what reports do you run at Befree to see these ID's?

For BeFree: Any of the FlexTrack reports. It's also in the Transaction Detail report.

Michael, do you have to enable this feature at Befree too or can you just add ?btinfo=blahblah and run the Flextrack reports...?

You have to ask LS to enable it. All other show it by default.

    Hi,

Any way of doing tracking through own website simply catching keywords and get them inserted as CJ SID? What if I use FrontPage extensions? I read somewhere about PHP possibility but it creates a problem with FronPage.

    Thanks,
    king
