i looked at the buy-here-and-save site. obviously this thing grabs the content from amazon via html. is this legal ? i would not dare to do something like this until amazon explicitly allows it.

    yobb,

I've carefully read Amazon.com's Associate Agreement several times and there is nothing in there that restricts or prevents the use of amazon.pl. From my understanding of the Associate Agreement, amazon.pl falls within the terms and conditions of the Agreement.

Earlier this year I was talking with a representative in Amazon.com's affiliate department about an affiliate question I had. In passing I mentioned amazon.pl and he called up a website running amazon.pl and he did not express any objection to using amazon.pl

Amazon expressly invites developers to use its XML code. It is listed on their affiliates log in page.

Wel,, I'm not sure what you mean, then. I looked at the site, and it's only displaying the XML data.
