Does anyone have any idea why the default include - idefault.html - would not load in a page?

Nothing from the file is appearing.

    Richard,

Make sure that your template file (e.g.: tdefault.html) contains <!--include--> which causes an include file to be included.

The include files are in the directory specified by the includedir configuration variable (default is allposters-include).

When <!--include--> in encountered, allposters.pl tries to find an include file for the current category #. If it can't find that, it tries for the parent category #, all the way back to the root category (#0), otherwise idefault.html is used. For example, you could include something on all Movies pages and subpages by creating:
    allposters-include/i101.html (#101 is Movies).

I should add that I have taken the idefault.html file and copied it as another include - i646.html - and that file loads just fine.

It should work fine as idefault.html otherwise try copying it to i0.html (that's a zero).

I have never encountered this problem before when installing allposters, so I am just going to strip down and delete this particular subdomain and recreate it then re-install allposters.

I'll let you know what happens. And thanks for your help - as usual.

Deleting and recreating the subdomain did not work so I tried using include:FILE and it loads the default file that I want loaded.

I am going to try installing in another directory and see what happens there just to see what happens.
