We were making some changes to harware in one of our datacenters that caused intermittent members area availability. We did not expect to have more than a few minutes of unavailability. Tracking was not affected by these changes.

There should be no further interruptions.

    Todd,

Was there any problem with the tracking servers? I had no sales from after 1 pm yesterday, then a bunch after midnight but only one of those after midnight had an EVENT DATE of yesterday. Did the tracking server not clock these in at the right time and list them all as sales for today or is it something else?

    Thanks!

I can confirm that reporting was delayed last evening for several hours. Though after a match up of our own backend transaction reporting with CJ, I found that everything was reported 100%.

    Akiva,

Thanks for the info. I guess what I am asking of Todd is, if the tracking servers were not affected, should they not list the correct time for the Event Date, not the time that the CJ site came back up? Just curious.

    Thanks.

Log in? I can't even get the page to load up. I haven't been able to yesterday OR today.

Tracking servers were not affected. They capture the txns. The servers that later consume these tracked txns were delayed and that is why reporting was delayed. Tracking went unaffected but reporting of txns was delayed.

I will double check that everything is back to normal in regards to reporting and member area availability. I will post an update here if things are back to normal.

The CJ site only appears unaccessable if you are trying http://cj.com. http://www.cj.com/ is loading properly.

Todd, you may want to refer this to some techs.

It's working fine from NYC right now. Could be a DNS problem.

Tracking servers weren't down yesterday? That's funny, I clicked 7 of my links yesterday, and got a "Page cannot be displayed" every time.

    Were those pages reporting transactions?

They have different IP's when doing an nslookup up directly on CJ's nameservers.

It's just a suggestion for those having problems. I read in an earlier post somebody was having the same problem.

I noticed several problems this morning and began monitoring the CJ network (at least the cj site itself). There have been sporadic issues all day, and oftentimes periods of 100% packet loss

    Todd,

I'm not sure that you are aware that stevem224 is correct. There was a period of time last night when none of my links were working either.

Same here. Yesterday evening was not a single CJ Link working on our Site, All CJ Images were broken too.

    Tracking was not affected... right.

There was nothing to track, because Users never made it to the merchant sites.

Explain this for me please - Yesterday I had the most visitors to my top site in two months....I had the most clicks in one day ever for all sites and I had the worst sales day in quite some time (one sale and two ebay nickels)

With CJ down for so many of us yesterday, I do wonder....where are my sales?

Now, to be honest, several sales came in early this morning, but the transaction date (Event Date) were for today, not yesterday. Todd, you did not answer my question as I had hoped....If a sale occurs at a certain time of the day, should that not be the time that appears on the EVENT DATE on our CJ on-line reports? Or is the event date the the date and time the sale is transfered from the tracking server to the reporting server?

Getting the answer to this would help me better understand why my EPC for May 1 dropped to an unbelievable $3.29.

    Thanks!

Still (even more) curious. I did ask CJ's AAQ, but have still not quite gotten an answer to this.

Gee, Todd missed me twice today.

Maybe some dancing bananas will get his attention and I can get an answer to this.
