    www.frameplace.com (CJ Merchant)

Not to be rude, but I don't know how this guy is making any sales for his affiliates!

That site design is HORRIBLE and is clearly done by a beginner.

Is anyone doing okay with that program?

I almost feel bad sending my visitors to a site that looks that bad, but don't see any alternatives in CJ? I am sure he is a good guy and all, but that site design,...OUCH

Yep, I would have to say it's pretty awful.

It's hard to sell when the destination site looks so much worse than the referring site. I wouldn't order from a site that looked like that, but apparently a lot of people do.

I see a site like that I hit the back button and return to the search engine in a flash!

I would guess (without bothering to look at the SEs) that *nobody's* seeing any alternatives that look better in the category at the price range those frames are. Not just "at CJ"...the customers aren't finding real competitors in their searches either. With no real competition, a site could sell if it looked like the web equivalent of the back of a rusty pickup.

If they HAVE decent competition in the SEs selling frames *at those prices*, then it's a wonder that merchant gets customers.

There is a weird thing that happens with some buyers. I've seen this happen with different markets/products too.

Some people equate cheap design with getting a "deal".

It's simple really, some people just feel that fancy-schmancy sites are fancy because there prices are too high. Or whatever inane reason they have in their head.

I'm with everyone else though. A design like this makes me run away. Not everyone though.

Many people equate cheap design to a company that just doesn't care. A company that is here today and gone tomorrow. Then again, many people don't even recognize cheap design.
