Hello everyone. This is my first post so bear with me. I just installed AE on my website and went live with it yesterday morning. I intend to use it as an enhancement to my normal site. I set it up using the virtual directory options. To make a long story short...Googlebot spidered about 1300 pages yesterday. Today I have dropped 300 to 400 positions for almost all my major keywords and also dropped 75 to 100 places in allinanchor. Has anyone else had this experience or any ideas why this happened? My site has been up for 6 years and I've never had anything like this happen before. Any input or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be looking for other theories. All the spiders love AE. I had carelessly installed it on a subdomain (I shouldn't have for other reasons), the spider visits hogged the CPU on the shared host and the hosting company took me offline! I have since moved AE to another host and it is visited at a regular but sedate pace. The original subdomain still serves 404s to the spiders from the original crawl.
