    Hi,
    I'm looking for a script that will parse variables from the URL and then write them to a file when a user clicks through a link.

    Does anyone know of a script with this kind of functionality or something similiar that I can adapt for my purposes?

    Thanks
    - Tom

    Hmmmm ... can't think of any at the top of my overly bad (old age) memory. But, that could be easily created.

    Maybe somebody else here will chime in with a known source.

    php4:
    <pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">
    &lt;?php
    $file = fopen ('/path/to/file.txt', 'a');

    fwrite ($file, "Access at ". date ("l dS of F Y h:i:s A").":\n") or die 'Something went horribly wrong!';
    foreach(${"HTTP_GET_VARS"} as $var=&gt;$val) {
    fwrite ($file, $var ." -&gt; ".$val."\n");
    }

    fclose ($file);

    header('Location: '. $_GET['redir']);
    ?&gt;
    </pre>
    link to it with:
    http://yourhost.com/redir.php?foo=1&.../theirhost.org

    Variables foo, bar, and redir will be written to a file, and then you will be redirected.
