I'm searching the web, but thought I'd throw something on here incase someone already uses a little script to do this... I want to echo some text, or do an include or something until a specified date.

I think if you want to do any of those calculation things in php then you need to alter all your dates into Unix timestamps and work from there. Or that's how it works with me anyway.

This is just off the top of my head...
$now = time(); // get current time in unix format
$enddate = strtotime("24 December 2004"); // convert string time to unix format
if ($enddate > $now)

Thanks Oscar and Pete, I continued to play while waiting for a response and came up with a shorter version of Pete's code that seem to work
